Rate Harbore scores every provider on one fixed rubric, applied the same way every time. This page breaks down each criterion, its weight, and the reasoning behind it.

Scoring Criteria

Where the Data Comes From

Each provider's score is built from publicly available information - the provider's own fee/terms pages, official announcements, and, where available, independent incident reports. Facts shown in a review's "at a glance" table are updated as part of each content refresh.

How Often We Update

We revisit reviews on a regular basis to catch changes in fees, policy, or provider status. The "Updated" date on a review always reflects our last check, not necessarily the provider's own last change.

Corrections

If a score looks wrong to you, tell us why via our contact page - we'll check it against this methodology and correct it if warranted.
